Creativity is good for the soul...
Here's an image, write a story about what you see.
I was 62 years old when I learned that doing something creative is good for my mental health. When I'm creating, like writing these words, I'm not thinking about bills, or sick parents, or out of control grandkids. I'm putting the very essence of myself into something that feels good AND produces a visable result. Writing and photography are my things, so let's play a little of "Tell me what you see."
The rules are simple. Look closely at the image and create a short story about the scene. Use you imagination and blow up the image to look closely at every detail because those little clues make better stories. Let your creative juices flow!
Have fun with it!
We won't publish your name, you can choose an alter-ego name or use anonymous, but there's no pressure and no right or wrong way to write a story. Just observe and let your imagination run wild!
Your piece should be 300-500 words, must be written in English, and be submitted by email to [email protected]
Please use the subject "The Playground" in your email!

We won't be able to share every story, but we'll show an interesting selection of stories from our Crone members.
