<h3>&nbsp; &nbsp; Courage</h3><p>Being Scared Shitless But Doing It Anyway</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><h3>The Dream<br>&nbsp;</h3><p>I’ve been working on this dream for about 3 years now, and during that time I have often felt like an imposter, like someone who doesn’t know what the hell they’re doing. And the reason I feel that way is because I have no idea what the hell I’m doing. &nbsp;I just know that I want to help other women like me.&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>I also just know that writing is therapeutic for me, and maybe because I’m an Aquarian, spilling my guts seems to be a natural trait that I sometimes regret possessing. But as I look back through my life, I see a common thread, a trait that I am grateful to possess, and that is courage. &nbsp;</p><blockquote><p>The best protection any woman can have is courage. -Elizabeth Cady Stanton&nbsp;<br></p></blockquote><p>Like many women, I can’t remember a lot of my childhood but there were problems in our family that helped shaped the woman I’ve become over the last 60+ years. &nbsp;I spent decades trying to figure out those survival mechanisms that formed my personal characteristics but it was a complete waste of good energy. <h2>Here's an image, write a story about what you see.&nbsp;</h2><p><br data-mce-bogus="1"></p><p>I was 62 years old when I learned that doing something creative is good for my mental health. When I'm creating, like writing these words, I'm not thinking about bills, or sick parents, or out of control grandkids. I'm putting the very essence of myself into something that feels good AND produces a visable result. Writing and photography are my things, so let's play a little of "Tell me what you see."</p><p>The rules are simple. Look closely at the image and create a short story about the scene. Use you imagination and blow up the image to look closely at every detail because those little clues make better stories.
